The Continuous Education Unit at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Baghdad, in collaboration with the Department of Islamic Law, organized a scientific workshop titled ‘How to Fill Out the Performance Evaluation Form’ in the Scholars Hall.
The aim of the workshop, which was conducted by Assistant Professor Diaa Al-Din Hamza Ismail, Assistant Lecturer Ammar Abdul Hameed, and Assistant Lecturer Sarah Mahdi, was to elucidate the process of completing performance evaluation forms, including highlighting strengths and weaknesses, in accordance with the guidelines of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at the University of Baghdad.
The workshop covered four main axes: the first axis explained the concept of performance evaluation, the second axis elucidated the purpose of performance evaluation, the third axis discussed the benefits of the evaluation process, and the fourth axis focused on the practical aspects of performance evaluation.
The researchers in the seminar recommended that department heads work on completing the evaluation of teaching staff within their departments and adhere to the specified timelines for providing the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Department at the college with the assessment scores for faculty members in the scientific departments. They also emphasized the importance of documenting the academic output of faculty members and the need to maintain records for each department’s faculty members to document their specific activities in the performance evaluation form, with an emphasis on the importance of international dissemination
