In a step that strengthens scientific cooperation between academic and religious institutions in Iraq, Dr. Qahtan Al-Sahhaf, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bayt Al-Hikma, welcomed Professor Dr. Ne’ma Dahesh Farhan, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad, along with his administrative assistant, Professor Dr. Arkan Raheem Jabr, in his office.
This meeting took place as part of a congratulatory gesture on Dr. Al-Sahhaf’s appointment as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bayt Al-Hikma. Both parties exchanged best wishes for success and prosperity in his new role.
During the meeting, discussions focused on enhancing scientific cooperation between the College of Islamic Sciences and Bayt Al-Hikma. Dr. Farhan emphasized the importance of this collaboration in enriching Iraq’s intellectual and cultural movement and contributing high-quality academic research that serves society.
The Dean of the College emphasized the role of the college in fostering fruitful scientific cooperation with state academic institutions, affirming the college’s readiness to collaborate with Bayt Al-Hikma in various scientific and cultural fields.
For his part, Dr. Al-Sahhaf welcomed the visit of the delegation from the College of Islamic Sciences, expressing his appreciation for the significant role the college plays in graduating qualified academic cadres.
