Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Ne’ma Dahish Farhan, the Scientific Affairs Unit, in collaboration with the Comparative Religions

Department, organized a workshop this morning titled: “Effective Methods for Combating Administrative Corruption in the Public Sector.” The lecture was delivered by Dr. Ibrahim Abdul Salam Yassin.
The workshop aimed to enhance institutional awareness of the dangers of administrative corruption in the public sector and to present practical and procedural mechanisms to curb this phenomenon, which is one of the most significant challenges facing government institutions.
Dr. Yassin explained key preventative and supervisory practices, the role of legal legislation and administrative procedures in promoting integrity and transparency, and the importance of fostering a culture of ethical and professional responsibility among employees.
The workshop concluded with recommendations that focused on the necessity of activating internal oversight, developing continuous training programs for staff, and enhancing cooperation between official and supervisory bodies to solidify the principles of integrity and protect public funds.
The workshop saw a remarkable turnout and interaction from the attendees, including professors and students from the college, reflecting the academic and practical interest in addressing this vital issue.
