The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad has released a volume documenting the proceedings and research of its fourteenth national scientific conference entitled “The Impact of Islamic Sciences in Achieving Sustainable Development.” The conference was held under the theme of “Investing in Clean Energy: Our Path to Sustainable Development” from March 15-16, 2023.
The volume comprises 703 pages of large format and includes thirty-two research papers that address issues related to sustainable development by developing and achieving the goals of sustainable development, particularly focusing on Goal 4, which pertains to quality education. As part of this scientific collaboration among universities, the Sustainable Development Conference program brings together the efforts of universities and other higher education institutions to enhance teaching, promote applied research, and address specific issues outlined in the research and policies related to the United Nations’ goals.
