In a humanitarian and supportive gesture, a delegation from the Department of Comparative Religions at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at Baghdad University visited the wounded of the recent Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip at the private nursing hospital in the capital Baghdad.

The delegation included a group of professors from the department, who brought flowers and gifts to the patients, expressing feelings of solidarity and sympathy with them and their families in their painful ordeal .During the visit, members of the delegation, headed by Prof. Dr. Hazem Adnan, Head of the Department of Religion, met with the wounded and listened to their moving stories about their steadfastness in the face of the aggression. They also expressed their absolute support for the just Palestinian cause and their stand with the Palestinian people in their legitimate struggle to liberate their land and establish their independent state.
