The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad, in collaboration with the Araqa organization for Culture and Development Foundation, organized an event to honor second-year students for their outstanding academic performance, high discipline, and active contribution to scientific and developmental activities and programs aimed at achieving sustainable development goals. The event took place at Al-Zahra Hall.
During the event, Professor Dr. Na’ma Dhih Farhan, the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, emphasized the college’s commitment to supporting student activities in all their forms. He encouraged students to develop their abilities to prepare a generation capable of innovation and creativity in various fields. He commended the contributions of college students in participating in scientific and developmental activities and programs.Professor Dr. Ali Hulou Hwas, the Head of the Department of Arabic Language, stated that the department takes measures with the goal of benefiting the students who are at the center of the educational process. He highlighted the college’s efforts to enhance student activities and expand the base of students who can benefit from them.
