The Ibn Sina Unit for E-Learning at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Baghdad, in collaboration with the College’s Website Unit, organized a workshop on e-classrooms. The event took place in the college’s Computer Center Hall and was attended by a large number of faculty members. The workshop aimed to demonstrate the key steps involved in creating an e-classroom using the Google Classroom application, a feature within Google’s suite of user accounts.
The workshop was conducted by Programmer Suhad Mohi Hilal, Head of the Ibn Sina Unit, and Engineer Muntaha Kazem Mousa, Head of the Website Unit. The session covered the concept of e-classrooms and the requirements for establishing them. It also detailed the steps for creating a classroom, adding course materials, and how to host students and faculty members. Additionally, the workshop addressed how to set up notifications through these classrooms, as well as the processes for archiving and copying classroom content. It further explored the methods for conducting assessments, grading student responses, and administering online exams.
