The Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Na’ma Dahsh Farhan, participated in an important meeting of the committee tasked with monitoring the implementation of recommendations arising from conferences, seminars, and workshops to be held in Iraqi universities, in coordination with the Popular Mobilization Forces Commission.
The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s office, in the presence of several academic and political figures, including representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the University of Baghdad, and the Popular Mobilization Forces Commission.
The attendees discussed mechanisms for implementing the recommendations of conferences, seminars, and workshops held in Iraqi universities, aiming to enhance collaboration between universities and society, and achieve sustainable development in Iraq.
The representative of the Prime Minister praised the role of Iraqi universities in disseminating knowledge and supporting the government’s efforts in various fields. He also emphasized the importance of coordination between universities and the Popular Mobilization Forces Commission to implement the outcomes of conferences and seminars held in universities, contributing to achieving security and stability in Iraq.
Dr. Farhan emphasized the college’s commitment to participating in all events that contribute to enhancing collaboration between universities and society. He also highlighted the role of the college in promoting authentic Islamic sciences and combating extremist ideologies.
This meeting marks an important step towards implementing the recommendations of conferences, seminars, and workshops held in Iraqi universities, thereby enhancing collaboration between universities and society and achieving sustainable development in Iraq.
