The Department of Arabic Language, the Department of Comparative Religion, the Department of Islamic Civilization, the Department of Finance and Banking, and the Department of Islamic Philosophy at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Baghdad, have achieved the first place among their counterparts in the scientific departments of Islamic Sciences colleges across Iraqi universities. Meanwhile, the Departments of Islamic Law and Islamic Creed in the college secured the second place, closely trailing the first place in the same classification. This accomplishment represents a significant progress that adds to the achievements of the University of Baghdad under its outstanding management of scientific departments, its continuous support, and remarkable attention, enabling it to achieve this advanced position.
This ranking was according to the Iraqi classification of universities, colleges, and scientific departments in both governmental and private Iraqi universities. It relied on a set of criteria, including the effectiveness of scientific research, quality, institutional accreditation, and other important standards that positioned the scientific departments accurately. Congratulations to our beloved university, the College of Islamic Sciences, and its wise administration for this scientific achievement.
