The University of Baghdad provides a wide range of undergraduate studies, postgraduate studies, and funded scholarships (which include tuition fees and housing) for non-Iraqi students from around the world.

The College of Islamic Sciences, which is one of the colleges of the University of Baghdad, was established in 1956. It is one of the oldest colleges in the University of Baghdad, with approximately 106 graduate students and 1,600 undergraduate students. The college offers 3 postgraduate programs through three of its departments and 7 undergraduate studies programs in its seven departments

The College of Islamic Sciences/University of Baghdad offers its scholarships for non-Iraqi students to apply for, as the scholarship committee will review and evaluate all submissions according to a number of criteria that include qualifications and academic achievements of the applicant, language level in addition to the requirements of the study program. The committee may also contact the applicant to schedule an electronic interview to discuss more information and details about the applicant.
