In a move aimed at enhancing partnership between state institutions and Iraqi universities, Professor Dr. Ni’ma Dahash Farhan, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad, met with His Excellency, Advisor to the Prime Minister, Professor Dr. Hazem Watan.
The meeting addressed ways to develop the relationship between the Advisory Board and the College of Islamic Sciences. Both parties emphasized the importance of this collaboration in achieving several objectives, including: promoting national unity and peaceful coexistence, supporting government efforts, advancing higher education, prioritizing scientific research, fostering a safe and stimulating educational environment, and providing community services.
The Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to His Excellency, Prime Minister Engineer Muhammad Al-Sudani, and to his advisor, Professor Dr. Hazem Watan, for their substantial support for educational institutions, particularly the College of Islamic Sciences.
It is anticipated that this meeting will contribute to a qualitative shift in higher education in Iraq and enhance cooperation between various governmental institutions and universities.
