In a move that strengthens scientific and cultural cooperation between academic and religious institutions in Iraq, the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad hosted a high-level delegation from the Holy Hussainiya Shrine. This meeting aimed to discuss ways to enhance joint collaboration and invite the college to participate in the Eighth Scientific Conference of the Spring of Martyrdom, scheduled to be held in February 2025.
The meeting was chaired by Professor Dr. Ne’mah Dahash Farhan, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad, with the presence of Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Al-Essawi, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Fallujah, and Professor Dr. Arkan Rahim, the Administrative Vice Dean.
This collaboration aims to strengthen the relationship between the two institutions and to exchange expertise and knowledge across various scientific and religious fields. It will also contribute to enriching the academic landscape with specialized research and studies that enhance a deeper understanding of Islam and its heritage.
The invitation for the College of Islamic Sciences to participate in the Eighth Scientific Conference of the Spring of Martyrdom represents an important opportunity to showcase the latest research and studies conducted at the college, as well as to engage with a select group of researchers and thinkers from various countries around the world.

This collaboration is expected to lead to numerous joint projects between the college and the Holy Hussainiya Shrine, including the organization of workshops and joint scientific seminars, the exchange of books and academic journals, and the development of joint postgraduate programs.
