The Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Neama Dahesh Farhan, affirmed the success of the competitive examination experience for admission to postgraduate studies for the academic year 2024-2025. This examination witnessed a wide turnout from graduates of various Iraqi universities.
Dr. Farhan explained in a statement that “the competitive examination was organized according to the highest scientific and objective standards, ensuring that the college admits outstanding and qualified students to pursue postgraduate studies in various scientific departments.” He added, “The results of the competitive examination will be announced in the coming days, and successful students will be contacted to complete the registration procedures.”
Dr. Farhan also praised the efforts of all those involved in organizing the competitive examination, including professors and staff, appreciating their dedication to ensuring the success of this important experience.

In turn, Assistant Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Muhannad Muhammad Saleh, stated that “the competitive exam covered fundamental subjects from each department of the college, with the aim of assessing the scientific and cognitive abilities of students and ensuring their capability to successfully pursue graduate studies.” He added that “the competitive exam has contributed to raising the standards for graduate admissions and attracting distinguished students from various Iraqi universities.”
Saleh noted that “the college continually strives to develop the graduate admissions system to ensure that students receive the highest quality university education.”
