The Arabic Language Department at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad witnessed distinctive events to discuss the graduation research papers of fourth-year students, amidst a scholarly atmosphere filled with constructive discussions and valuable contributions. The presented research papers stood out for their high quality and diverse topics, reflecting the students’ commitment and dedication to their studies.
The discussions were chaired by the department’s head, Professor Dr. Ali Halu Hassas, in the presence of the Dean, Professor Dr. Naama Dahsh, his administrative assistant Dr. Arkan Raheem Jabr, and members of the specialized scientific committee. The Dean praised the outstanding level of the presented research papers, commending the efforts of the students and their supervisors. He also expressed his satisfaction with Dr. Ali Halu Hassas’s management of the department, emphasizing his role in enhancing the educational process and raising the level of scientific research.
The discussions encompassed a wide range of linguistic and literary topics, including studies in grammar, morphology, rhetoric, literary criticism, and comparative literature. The students demonstrated their mastery of the presented topics and their skill in presentation and discussion.
These discussions are the result of significant efforts made by the college administration and the Arabic Language Department to develop scientific research and enhance the students’ level.
