The Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad, in cooperation with the Sharia Department, organized an awareness-raising lecture for 1st year students about student discipline instructions in the Sharia Department halls. The lecture by Dr. Fatima Drew Mallouh aims to introduce students to their duties and rights, enhance awareness of the importance of adhering to university laws and disciplines, and create a safe and stable educational environment. The lecture covered a number of topics, including: introducing the concept of student discipline and its importance, presenting the instructions for student discipline at the University of Baghdad in detail, and explaining the procedures followed in the event that a student violates the university’s laws. Mallouh stressed the importance of constructive dialogue between the student and the university administration to solve any problems that may arise and the necessity of providing advice and guidance to students to maintain their distinguished academic behavior. The lecture received great interaction from the students, who asked many questions and inquiries, which were answered by the lecturers. This lecture comes as part of a series of activities and events organized by the Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Islamic Sciences, with the aim of enhancing educational and moral values among students, and providing a supportive and stimulating university environment for creativity and excellence.
