The Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Nimah Dahesh Farhan, and his administrative assistant, Dr. Arkan Rahim Jabr, were recently honoured by the Imam Al-Khoei Library in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf (holy Najaf) for their contribution to a collection of theses and dissertations focusing on the intellectual legacy of Imam Al-Khoei.

The theses and dissertations covered various aspects of Imam Al-Khoei’s work, including jurisprudence, doctrine, and Islamic history. The Imam Al-Khoei Library appreciated the significant scholarly contribution made by Dr. Farhan and Dr. Jabr in promoting the study of Imam Al-Khoei’s teachings. Dr. Farhan expressed his gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing the importance of Imam Al-Khoei’s intellectual heritage in enriching Islamic knowledge. He commended the library for its efforts in preserving and disseminating this valuable legacy.
