The Academic Affairs Unit at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Baghdad, in collaboration with the Department of Creed, organized a workshop titled “Computer Fundamentals” in the Scholars’ Hall. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ skills in using computers and various applications.
The workshop, which was presented by Dr. Kazem Shnon, Mr. Amar Abdul Halim, and Ms. Wafa Harith, included an introduction to computer components and their functions, as well as the use of the Windows operating system. Additionally, Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email usage were demonstrated.
A group of students from the college, along with faculty members and staff, participated in the workshop, praising its usefulness and productivity. They expressed their gratitude to the college for organizing it.
The college emphasized its commitment to developing students’ skills in various fields and the importance of computer usage in studying and researching. It also reiterated its ongoing efforts to organize more workshops and events beneficial to students.
