As part of its efforts to enhance the skills of its students and equip them with the necessary skills for the job market, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Baghdad, organized a training course on “English Language Proficiency in the Workplace”. The course, conducted by Zainab Sameer Shakir, targeted students from various levels of the college and covered fundamental topics such as grammar rules, vocabulary, writing skills, and speaking skills.
The Dean of the college, Professor Dr. Na’ma Dahsh Farhan, commended the efforts of those involved in organizing the course, emphasizing the importance of the English language in our current era and its role in communication with various cultures and civilizations.
Dr. Farhan emphasized that the college always strives to provide the best resources for its students and to develop their linguistic and scientific skills so that they can compete effectively in various fields. Participants in the course received both theoretical and practical lectures from experts in the field of English language, and the course was distinguished by active participation from students who showed great engagement with the course content.
At the conclusion of the course, certificates of participation were distributed to students who successfully completed its requirements.
