[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]The shrine of the great companion Salman al-Muhammadi (PBUH), witnessed this morning, April 20, 2024, the activities of the 7th annual Salman Conference, the Interfaith Forum, which was held under the title \u201cThe unity of Iraq is the promotion of peaceful coexistence.\u201d. The conference witnessed wide participation from senior thinkers and scholars from various religions and sects, sponsored by the Shiite Endowment Office in cooperation with the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad and other universities and colleges from inside and outside Iraq. The participation of the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Prof. Dr. Nima Dahesh Farhan, in this conference was distinguished, as he participated as a member of the scientific committee of the conference, and also presented a joint research entitled \u201cAcceptance of the Other according to the Great Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace,\u201d in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Khalil Hassan Al-Zarkani, Head of the Department of Civilization at the College of Islamic Sciences. The research aims to study the concept of \u201cacceptance of others\u201d according to the Holy Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and to provide historical evidence of the Prophet\u2019s practice of peaceful coexistence and acceptance of others. The research includes a group of topics, including: the system of peaceful coexistence according to the Messenger of God (May God bless him and grant him peace), acceptance of the other in the Holy Qur\u2019an, images and implications of the Prophet\u2019s tolerance in accepting the other. Dr. Farhan is considered one of the prominent figures in the field of interfaith dialogue and peaceful coexistence, as he participated in many local and international conferences in this field. He has many books and research that address issues of tolerance and coexistence between different cultures and religions. Dr. Farhan’s participation in this conference confirms his tireless efforts to spread a culture of tolerance and peaceful coexistence and promote interfaith dialogue. We hope that these efforts will contribute to building a united and prosperous Iraq, in which everyone strives to live in peace and security[\/vc_column_text]
