[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]The Arabic Language Department at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Baghdad, hosted the inauguration ceremony of the Al-Far\u0101h\u012bd\u012b Hall after its refurbishment in collaboration with the Iraqi Heritage Foundation. The event was attended by a select group of Arabic language professors, researchers, and students, as well as representatives from the Iraqi Heritage Foundation.
\nThe ceremony began with a welcoming speech from the head of the Arabic Language Department, Dr. Ali Halou Hawas, where he thanked the Iraqi Heritage Foundation for their support in refurbishing the Al-Far\u0101h\u012bd\u012b Hall. Then, Dr. Arkan Rahim Jabr, the administrative assistant at the College of Islamic Sciences, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of the Arabic language and its role in preserving the Arab-Islamic identity.
\nThe ceremony included a presentation detailing the stages of refurbishing the Al-Far\u0101h\u012bd\u012b Hall, followed by a tour of the hall where attendees were shown its modern facilities.
\nIn conclusion, Dr. Alaa Al-Mandalawi, the director of the Iraqi Heritage Foundation, was honored for his generous support to the Arabic Language Department. Additionally, several Arabic language professors were recognized for their efforts in serving the Arabic language.
\nThe attendees praised the role of the administrative assistant in supporting the Arabic Language Department at the college, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between academic institutions and civil society in preserving and promoting the Arabic language. The inauguration of the Al-Far\u0101h\u012bd\u012b Hall is considered an important step towards enhancing the status of the Arabic language at the University of Baghdad, serving as a successful model of collaboration between academic institutions and civil society.[\/vc_column_text]
