Additionally, they have implemented the NVDA program, a free screen reader that allows blind and visually impaired individuals to use the computer by converting on-screen text into audio. These services are part of the necessary support provided to individuals with special needs. Furthermore, one of the elevators at the college has been designated for individuals with special needs, in line with the college’s vision to achieve the principle of supporting and integrating students with special abilities into the university community, and to promote a culture of inclusion among faculty, staff, and students.<\/p>\n
During his inspection of the services, Professor Dr. Nama Dahsh Farhan, the Dean of the college, stated that the college spares no effort in caring for individuals with special abilities. The college provides all forms of support, care, and encouragement to help them maintain their excellence and distinction. He emphasized that individuals with special abilities are exceptional people and should be treated with the respect and appreciation they deserve, just like anyone else. He pointed out that this is in line with the University of Baghdad’s commitment to respecting those with outstanding abilities.<\/p>\n
